One of less than 150 board-certified veterinary dentists in the world, Dr. Van Nice and his team have successfully performed thousands of advanced dental procedures throughout Southern California. To become a dental specialist, Dr. Van Nice completed a two-year academy fellowship and a five-year alternate pathway program after earning is Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. During his programs he was required to write and publish original case reports and at the conclusion, pass a rigorous written and practical certifying exam.

As a specialty dental practice, we work by referral. Primary care veterinarians and even some other specialists refer patients to us when our expertise is required. It is this partnership approach that affords your pet a team of professionals all working together to achieve the very best outcome.

We have also been known to treat other types of animals courtesy of our relationships with local zoos and sanctuaries.
